SMS Terms

These SMS Terms apply to the MasterCase text message program, operated by MasterCase Wholesale Inc. ("MasterCase", "we", "us"). By giving us your mobile number and ticking the consent box, you agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, email support@mastercase.ca.

What the program is

The MasterCase text message program sends you the Monthly Case Drop: new Canadian companies as they join, new category drops, and the occasional note when something worth telling you about lands. It is a marketing program. It is not a transactional or order-notification service.

How you join

You join by entering your mobile number and ticking the consent box on a MasterCase signup form. The box is never ticked for you, and we never add a number to the program from an order, an email signup, or any other source. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase and never will be.

We keep a record of each consent, including the exact wording shown to you, the page you were on, the date and time, and the IP address used. You can ask us for your own record at any time.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. In normal months you should expect one message. We may send more around a launch, a giveaway or a restock, and fewer in a quiet month.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. MasterCase does not charge you for the messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for receiving them, depending on your plan. Ask your carrier if you are not sure.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to leave the program. We will send one confirmation that you have been removed, and then nothing further. You can rejoin at any time by signing up again.

Leaving the text message program does not unsubscribe you from MasterCase email, and unsubscribing from email does not remove you from the text program. They are separate, and you can be on either one on its own.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and messages may not reach you if your device is off, out of coverage, or your number has changed.

Changing your number

If you change or give up your mobile number, please tell us so we do not text a number that now belongs to someone else. You can update it by emailing support@mastercase.ca.

Age

You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory to join the program.

Privacy

Your mobile number is handled under our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your number, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Changes to these terms

We may update these SMS Terms. If a change materially affects the program, we will say so in a message before it takes effect. The version on this page is always the one that applies.
