Tracy Banner is one of the first sixteen Certified Tea Blenders in North America, and she blends every Flying Leaf tea by hand in Kelowna, British Columbia. The motto is three words: "...love tea."

Blending is as much science as art, and Tracy treats it that way — sourcing organic leaf, herbs, spices, fruit, nuts and flowers from around the world, then testing and refining a blend until it tastes like the name on the bag. Everything is made in small batches, which is how the range stays fresh and consistent, and a good number of the blends started life as a customer request.

Tea is the second most-consumed drink on earth, and Tracy's answer for why is simple: it gives you ten minutes back, and it gives people a reason to sit down together.
